COVID-19

All clients will receive a phone call to take referral details during this phone call the therapist will discuss with you your preferred method of counselling i.e., via telephone, online (zoom or microsoft teams) or face-to-face. If you opt for face to face, in line with covid 19 guidelines, a risk assessment will be carried out to ensure that it is safe for you and others to receive treatment. Before you attend  your appointment we ask that you follow the guidelines listed below; 

 

PRE APPOINTMENT INFORMATION FOR FACE-TO-FACE THERAPY 

Before the you arrive for your first appointment, you will be sent the following checklist via text or email; 

•  If you show any symptoms of Coronavirus i.e., high temperature, sore throat, new or persistent cough, loss or change to taste or smell, or have been in contact with anyone who has displayed symptoms of the coronavirus or been tested positive, please let us know as soon as possible and we will review this in line with current government covid 19 guidelines and reschedule if necessary.   

• Please arrive only at the time of your appointment, access to the building will not be granted before your scheduled time and unfortunately there are  no waiting room facilities. Please remain in your car and we will phone you to let you know when to come into the building 

•  When you arrive at the building, press the buzzer and the door will be released to allow you to enter, alternatively your therapist will meet you at the entrance and escort you to the office where the session will take place 

• On entry to the premises, you will be asked to use the hand sanitiser 

• If necessary our therapists  will be wearing visors during the session for your protection 

• We will run a strict appointment schedule to minimise contact 

• Payment can be made via bank transfer or contact us to discuss alternative arrangements.  We require payment for the first session and all group packages in advance  

• Toilet facilities are now available
