You will learn how to use writing to:
- Question your assumptions and approach problems with curiosity rather than judgment
- Develop more self-compassion and connect more deeply with yourself and others
- Explore your emotions and expand your tolerance for difficult feelings
- Build resilience and problem-solving skills without becoming overwhelmed
- Reframe past experiences and find ways to reconcile with them
- Connect with your inner child and bring hope into areas of struggle
- Use imagination to problem-solve and develop creativity
This course is for anyone who wants to harness the power of creative writing to explore identity, emotions, and new ways of approaching life’s challenges. No writing experience is needed this isn’t about becoming a better writer. It’s about using writing therapeutically to express emotions, increase hope, enhance self-compassion, process difficult experiences, and strengthen problem-solving skills.
Led by two experienced therapists who both have publishing experience, this course offers a compassionate, safe space to explore, share, and connect.
